Fred E. Wolfe Obituary

Fred E. Wolfe, 69, of West Hanover Twp, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. Born March 18, 1951, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Fredrick and Jacqueline Wolfe. He was retired from the Senate of PA where he worked in janitorial services. Fred was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, the Indianapolis Colts, and enjoyed playing pool, having been on various leagues over the years. He was a member of Penbrook Legion Post #730 and the Progress Fire Hall Home Association. In his younger days, he served as a volunteer firefighter. Surviving are his brother, David Wolfe (Wenda); sisters, Hannah Wagner, Joanna Wolfe, and Dottie O’Brian (Harry); and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by a brother, Daniel. A committal service will be held Friday, November 27, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at Paxtang Cemetery with procession leaving from Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg at 10:30 a.m. In keeping with current health guidelines, attendees are encouraged to exercise proper precautions including the wearing of face coverings and appropriate social distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice. Special thanks to Dr. Han and staff for providing Fred with excellent care.
