Rockney Duane Gaines (59) passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Bill and Joan Gaines, Rock was raised in Morada Ca, along with his three siblings. In his youth he enjoyed Little League baseball, shooting guns, and swimming in the canal. During high school he excelled in wrestling and made it to the state tournament. During this time he met a girl named Tina Perry. They fell in love and married on June 11, 1976. They made their family complete with the birth of their twin daughters Jenni and Jill. Rock had a deep passion for just a few things, his family, friends, guns, and hunting. Rock was one of a kind, he loved and protected his family always. He will be remembered as a honest, hard working family man who was the definition of a loyal Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, Tina Gaines, Daughters Jennifer and Jill Gaines. Brothers Rod (Jaynie) Rick (Kandy) Sister Daphne, Grandchildren Jayci, Maddison, and Nick. As well as his Aunt Lynn Mc Carty, Sister in law Elaine Tullos, and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents Bill and Joan Gaines.
