Johnie Rinnex Johnson

Johnie Rinnex Johnson, Sr., born July 25, 1932 in Berea, Kentucky to Thomas Lewis Johnson and Martha Morris Johnson, passed away November 20, 2020 in Ocala, Florida. He was in the U.S. Army for 22 years. After retirement from the Army as a Master Sergeant, he became a small business owner of a laundry mat and also was a member of the VFW as well as a Shrine Mason. He sold cars at multiple dealerships in PA, Florida and Kentucky; was a realtor for Pennington Reality in Berea and a manager of Berea Country Club. Before his final retirement he was an over the road driver for JB Hunt. Johnie was preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Verna Harrison, Georgia Powell, Lina Rinnex, Bonnie Pennington and a brother, Tony Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorna Gaye West Johnson; sons, Johnie Johnson Jr. (Kentra), Thomas Lewis Johnson II (Amy), Kelly Johnson; daughters, Erika Green and Kristine Greiner; grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Greg Fulayter, Kila Johnson, Michael Fulayter, Shelby Johnson, Cooper Fulayter, Claire Fulayter, Zachary Johnson, Bentley Johnson, Alex Johnson, Camryn Johnson; and a sister, Lillie Neeley. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1053 Pine Tree Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, Florida 32937, with Reverend Doctor Phil Whitener officiating.
