Jimmie Melvin Paxton Obituary

Born in Valentine, Nebraska on February 28th, 1937 to Melvin and Tilly Paxton.
Jimmie joined the U.S. Navy in 1954 at 17 years old and attended boot camp in Great Lakes,Illinois. He was stationed on the USS Bennington touring in South America.
On May 5th , 1956 he was joined in marriage to Beverly Sue Spencer.
To this union was born Stanley Gene, Sheila Sue, and Twins Melody Jo and Melinda Avis.
Jimmie started working at young age , he worked for his father drilling wells at about age 12. In the summers there in Nebraska he worked in the Hay Feilds. He worked on Farms and Ranches after the Navy.
In 1960 Jimmie and Beverly moved to Watsonville, California where he worked as a well driller and began working for the City of Watsonville Water Dept. For 26 years when he retired.
They went to Nebraska bought a farm and enjoyed farm life again.
But to be near thier children they moved to Idaho in 2001.
Jimmie was the oldest of 9 children; Rosella,George,Laura,Lloyd, Val, Phillip,David , Kenny.
Jimmie was a example to his family in the love he showed them of his faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ .
