Beverly A. 'Susie' Fox

Beverly Ann "Susie" Fox, age 61, of Hagerstown, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian after an illness of one week. Born December 5, 1954 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Dorothy V. Bart Fox of Hagerstown and the late Guy Wade Fox. Susie was a kind, loving, compassionate person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She taught us all the true meaning of patience and sincerity. Her passion in life was traveling. She took advantage of every opportunity presented to her to do so. Susie will be missed by all, especially her cat named "Kitty". Surviving, in addition to her mother, are brothers, Gary Fox and wife Aleta of Rocky Ridge, Michael Fox and wife Terry of New Market; sister, Carolyn Caludis of Bethesda; 8 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews; traveling buddy and cousin, Margie DiSimone and cousin Alvey Smith who has helped the family with transportation needs. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, William Caludis. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 19.
