JOHN WILSON VIRGIN, 72 Of Naples, Florida passed away at his residence after a battle with pancreatic cancer on November 22, 2020 in Naples, Florida. In lieu of funeral services there will be a celebration of life at 900 6th St SE, Naples, FL 34117 on December 12 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. John was born in Cairo, Illinois to Franklin and Esta Virgin on July 27, 1948. He lived for a couple years in Pomona, IL then his family moved to Jacksonville, IL. He and his wife Lisa had their own successful national Cable TV Contracting business, Virtek, Inc for 25 years and lived in several locations in the US, including Illinois, Missouri, Maryland, Texas, and Florida. John retired at 56 years old. They also had Pea Ridge Elk Ranch in Nebo, Illinois where at one time they had 500 Elk. They also farmed hay at the farm they owned on Pea Ridge in Nebo, IL. During his life they did a lot of boating, fishing, scuba diving/spear fishing, hunting, and vacationing. Boating included many week(s) long trips. John is survived by his wife, Lisa of Naples, FL, his sister Ellen of Fuquay-Varina, NC, 4 Children John Jr, Tim, Tammy, and Forest; 10 Grandchildren, Shawn, Jerek, Karen, Kevin, Derick, Justin, Fletcher, Justin, Kaylee and Nicole, 4 Great Grandchildren Averi, Mikayla, Trenton, and Isabella and many nieces and great nieces and nephews and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his Father- Franklin, Mother- Esta, Brother- Henry, Brother- Charlie, and his first wife Norma.
