ROSINA J. BACA, 76, a resident of Española, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Rosina was preceded in death by her parents, Anastacio and Roberta; in-laws, Jose and Maria Baca; sister, Genevieve Pignoni; brother, Anastacio Sisneros Jr.; sisters-in-law, Margaret Sisneros, Eufelia Sisneros, Rupe Chavez, Emma Knowles and brothers-in-law, Jose Trinidad Baca, Pat Baca and Pancracio Rael. She was born on November 28, 1943 in Ojo Caliente, to Anastacio Sisneros and Roberta Lopez.  She met her future husband, Gabriel Baca, at the swimming pool at the Ojo Caliente hot springs and they were married on December 28, 1963 in South San Francisco, CA where they lived for several years and had 3 children. They returned to New Mexico in 1975. Mrs. Baca is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gabriel Baca; sister, Viola Sisneros-Rael; brother, Joe Cecilio Sisneros; brother-in-law, Augustine Pignoni; children, Gabriel C. Baca and wife Lori, Marcia Baca, and Adam Baca; grandchildren, Crystal Natasha Baca, Mallory Baca, Marcos Trujillo, Amabilis Baca, Gabriela Baca, Adán Baca and great-granddaughter, Jayden Baca.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, services are currently pending.  Honorary pallbearers will be, Crystal Natasha Baca, Mallory Baca, Amabilis Baca, Gabriela Baca, Marcos Trujillo, Adán Baca and Jayden Baca.  Instead of sending flowers, please consider making a donation to The Alzheimer's Association or Santa Fe County and Rio Arriba County Meals on Wheels programs.
