<p>High Point &ndash; Mrs. Betty Lou Mason Goodwin, 88, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at WFBH &ndash; High Point Medical Center.</p> <p>Betty was born in Iredell County on September 26, 1932 to the late William Maurice Mason and Mildred Johnson Mason. In addition to her parents, sister, Barbara Canoy also preceded her in death.</p> <p>Betty was strong in her faith and an active member at English Road Baptist church where she served as the church secretary for many years. Her church family will miss her.</p> <p>Betty is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dean Goodwin; son, Keith Goodwin and wife, Tammy of Asheboro; daughter, Kathy Adams of High point; sisters, Edith Cecil and husband, Bob, Ruby Shinault, Carolyn Hudson, Pam Anderson and husband, John; three grandchildren, Adam Trask and wife, Kimberly, Alison Bender and husband, Sean, Emily Adams; great-grandchildren, Kallam Trask and Laken Trask.</p> <p>A private service will be held at a later date.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to English Road Baptist Church, 1111 W. English Road, High Point, North Carolina 27262.</p> <p>Condolences may be shared at www.cumbyfuneral.com. Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point is serving the family.</p>

High Point – Mrs. Betty Lou Mason Goodwin, 88, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at WFBH – High Point Medical Center.

Betty was born in Iredell County on September 26, 1932 to the late William Maurice Mason and Mildred Johnson Mason. In addition to her parents, sister, Barbara Canoy also preceded her in death.

Betty was strong in her faith and an active member at English Road Baptist church where she served as the church secretary for many years. Her church family will miss her.

A private service will be held at a later date.
