Doris Jean Howell, 83, of Anderson, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. Doris was a floral designer, which was a career she loved dearly. Her favorite hobby was fishing. A private family graveside will be held in Civitan Cemetery. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, William and Christine Cates; husband, W.L. Howell; son, Chris Howell; brother, Harold Cates; sister, Claudell Barnett. She is survived by her children, Darryl Howell, Cheryl (Terry) Whaley, Shannon Howell, Jodi Howell; grandchildren, Jamie Gray (Mary Ann), Hannah Birdwell and Justin Clark; numerous nieces and nephews.
