Harold Eugene Cagle Obituary

Waynesville, Harold Eugene Cagle, age 68, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County he was a son of the late Scott Cagle and Frances Louise Jamerson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Priscilla Cagle Clark.  He was a 1970 graduate of Tuscola High School and was owner of Cagle LTD, Inc. and was an interior trim carpenter owning his company for 25 years, retiring in 2011.  Harold loved listening to music and solving Sadoko puzzles, working with his hands and his ultimate love was his grandchildren.

Harold is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Cagle, and his wife, Kimbra, of Canton and Donnie McClure, and his wife, Lynn, of Manassas, Virginia; two grandsons, Ellis and Jessie Garrison Clark; son-in-law, Shannon Clark, all of Clyde; girlfriend, Darlene Higgins, of Sylva; nieces, Courtney Lewis and Amanda Knepper; nephews, Chris Cagle and Shawn Messer; five great-nieces and two great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be held in Green Hill Cemetery following the service.  Due to Covid-19, all protocols and mandates are requested to be followed, including mask.  The service will be live streamed and will be accessible through Harold’s obituary on Wells Funeral Home website to facilitate the ongoing focus on community safety and health.

The care of Harold has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
