On Friday, November 20, 2020, Stephen Michael Bassham, husband and father of two, peacefully went to heaven at age 76. Steve was born in Sunray, Texas on March 9, 1944, and moved to Luther, OK at age 5. He married Donna Louise McGee on February 28, 1964, in Midwest City, OK, where he has resided since. He completed his associate degree at Rose Stated College and worked the last 18 years as the Oklahoma County Resale Property Coordinator prior to retirement. Steve spent his life serving others by being the hands and feet of Christ. Steve is survived by his wife Donna of 56 years, daughter Kimberly (Larry) of Shawnee, OK, and son Michael (Traci) of Choctaw, OK; five grandchildren, Jessica (Daniel), Kora (Cador), Taylor, Brandon and Dustin; four great grandchildren, Traesyn, Kingston, Kamryn and Kooper; four sisters, Phyllis (John), Doris (Eugene), Patricia (Eddie), and Shirley Jo (Danny). He is also survived by lifetime friends, Danny and Judy Thompson, and second daughter from love, Dee Ann Goodall. He is remembered by a host of nieces and nephews. Steve was a child of 18 children. Steve’s passions were his family, friends and fishing. He taught so many to fish at Lake Texoma, Kaw Lake, Eufaula Lake and Bell Cow Lake, and was the most caring and patient man ever.
