Emma K. "Kay" Hoffman

<p>HOFFMAN---Emma K. &ldquo;Kay&rdquo; Hoffman, 96, Arbutus Park Manor, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2020. Born on Sept. 24, 1924, daughter of George and Margaret (Miller) Stiffler. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Graham Hoffman, daughter, Carol Harr, sister, Betty Teeter and brother, Donald Stiffler. Survived by a very precious stepdaughter, Sally A. Hoffman, very special friend, Ronald E. Blough, sister, Shirley Houchens of Fontana, CA, very special niece, Sharon Heath of Texas, great-grandson, Brandon Harr of Hastings, PA and stepdaughter, Nancy, wife of Edward Hardy, Central City. Emma retired from the Church of the Brethren Home where she worked many years. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren where she loved singing in the choir. She adored her daughter Sally and loved spending time with her and Ron on the many outings they went on. Especially going out to eat and just enjoyed going on a ride on a beautiful day and stopping for ice cream. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Brad Griesheimer officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963 or to Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, Maintenance fund, 1068 Bedford St., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Kay.
