Linda Adams Obituary

Linda Adams, age 75, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. She was born on July 15, 1945 in Glenwood, the daughter of James Leslie Cogburn and Nettie Huggins Cogburn. On June 2, 1962, she was married to Vernon Adams who preceded her in death on December 7, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Adams; her parents; three brothers, Duel Cogburn, Doyle Cogburn and Tony Cogburn; and two sisters, Charlene Pate Morrison and Bonnie Ball. She attended Gospel Lighthouse Assembly in Glenwood and along with her husband, Vernon, formerly owned and operated the Bonnerdale Store. She enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, singing and loved being around her grandbabies. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Frankie Adams of Bonnerdale; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Danaisa and Ryan Robinson of Amity, Nathan Adams of Hot Springs, Autum and Brandon Neighbors of Amity, Daniel and Delaina Adams of Amity, Hayley and Jackie White of Kirby, Abby and Jeffery Abbott of Bonnerdale, Erika and Bubba Baker of Hopper and Ashley Adams of Glenwood; fourteen great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kailyn, Juanita, Blane, Jon, Joe, Alexa, Xander, Hazel, Halston, Harmony, Wyatt, Willow and Cooper; her brother and sister-in-law, Jessie and Dollie Cogburn of Glenwood; her sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Trillis Montgomery of Glenwood; her sister-in-law, Faircie Cogburn of Daisy; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2020, in the Howerton Wildwood Cemetery with Bro. Randy Leniger officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Nathan Adams, Daniel Adams, Ryan Robinson, Jackie White, Jeffery Abbott, Brandon Neighbors and Bubba Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
