Gloria Ann Price Lane

Gloria Ann Price Lane, age 85 of Paducah, formerly of Massac, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Mercy Health Lourdes. Gloria was born in Paducah on July 5, 1935 to the late Chester and Almeda Grimes Price. Her parents owned Price Grocery, now Massac Kountry Kitchen, where she helped out in the grocery store. She was a homemaker and held other jobs through the years. Gloria loved to crochet and put together jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church where she would try to be on Sunday’s. Gloria enjoyed spending time reading her Bible and listening to gospel music and the news. She is survived by her daughter, Renee Planitz and husband, Mark of Paducah; two sons, Thomas Wayne Pittman of Paducah and Jon Owen Pittman; one brother, Charles Price and wife, Vicky of Paducah; six grandchildren, Logan Pittman, Hillaree Pittman Hicks (Matthew), Tiffany Pittman, Katie Pittman, Zack Pittman, Tara Planitz Worley (Creighton), Adam Planitz (Summer); and seven great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lane of Topeka, Kansas; and her parents. In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Mrs. Lane will be private. The Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
