Aliyah Anne Wedge

Aliyah Anne Wedge, “Rootbeer”, was born July 1, 2002, to Harvey and Cristy Wedge, in Springfield, Missouri. She passed away suddenly November 22, 2020, near Mansfield, Missouri. She was 18 years, 4 months, and 21 days old. Aliyah loved spending time with her family and friends. Her whole world revolved around her nieces and nephews. She was the sparkle to everyone’s life that knew and loved her. She had the most contagious smile and the loudest laugh that filled the whole room with joy. She enjoyed being a CNA and helping all the residents with anything and everything they needed help with. She enjoyed embarrassing everybody, no matter where she was or who was there. Aliyah loved music and dancing to every beat. She meant the world to everyone who loved her and she took a little piece of all the family when she went home to be with Jesus. She will be dearly missed by all. Aliyah was preceded in death by two maternal grandparents, James and Joyce Johnson, one paternal grandfather, Harvey Lee Wedge, and one uncle, Barry Wedge. She is survived by her parents, Harvey and Cristy Wedge, two sisters, Sami Johnson and Kendra Miller, two brothers, Nolan Johnson and wife, Autumn, and Zach Wedge, six nieces, Keatyn, Aubrie, Brexley, Kinslee, Kaidynce, and Kaycelynn Johnson, two nephews, Zeke and Brentley Johnson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends who will miss her greatly.
