A Celebration of Life for James Joseph Moore, age 60, of Carriere, MS, formerly of Slidell, LA, who passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home (Behind Funeral Home). Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home (Behind Funeral Home). Rev. Carl Heberg will officiate the services. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Irish Bayou, he graduated with a master's in Theology and Religion from Liberty University. James was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Moore and Loretta Lucinda Porche Moore; and his brother, Jordan "Googie" Moore. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Pamela Phillips Moore; his children, Eddie Guidry, Candice Croom, Ashley Benintende, Brittany Ruiz, Courtney Moore, Megan Moore, Crystal Gonzales, and Randy Atchley; 26 grandchildren; his brothers, Johnny Pitre, Jeffery Moore, and Jody Moore; his sister, Lorinda Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
