Allen Boyd-Carter was born August 12, 1941 in Paterson, NJ to the late, Frances Anderson and Allen "A.D." Carter. He attended Central High School in Paterson. Soon after high school he fell in love with and married, Betty Ann (Yough) Boyd. They shared a loving marriage of fifty-one years. Allen Boyd-Carter worked for Inmont Corporations in Hawthorne, NJ for many years. He retired from Party Rentals in Paterson, NJ. Allen a.k.a "Bo-Pete" enjoyed horse racing, bowling and he loved listening to jazz music. His favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers and the Chicago Bulls were his favorite basketball team. Allen was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Boyd and daughter; Heather Boyd. Allen leaves to cherish wonderful memories four children; Juanita L. Boyd-Walker of Cincinnati, OH, Gail Boyd, Anthony Boyd and Shalaby Hicks all of Paterson, NJ, ten grandchildren; Zipporah Robertson, Hajar Boyd, Jihad Hicks, Quazeir Boyd, Cory Clyburn, Carter Hicks, Travail Kelley, Kenya Anthony and Antwaine Boyd, four great-grandchildren; DyRajah Isom, Zinnye Isom, Gershon McPherson and Khalid, his one and only sister; Ludella Anderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
