Lorene "Lori" Bright Obituary

Lorene “Lori” Bright, 84, of Nampa passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Grace Assisted Living in Caldwell, Idaho. Lori was born April 21, 1936 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Hazel Campbell Fink and was later adopted by Chester Onerphy Elder in 1941. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1954. In 1957 Lori married Delvin Bright and they made their home in the Boise, Idaho area. They farmed, ranched and raised racehorses. They owned businesses in both Caldwell and Nampa. The marriage ended after 35 years. Lori earned and received a nursing license in 1972. She worked at Karcher Estates and Mercy Medical Center until she was 70 years of age. Lori was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite song was “I’ll Walk with God”. Lori is survived by her children: Debra L Bright, Steven Ray Bright, Clayton Dale Bright, Bryan Keith Bright; her daughter-in-law: Lori Bright and son-in-law Randy Aldridge; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a sister Sherry Roseberry and a brother and sister-in-law Steve and Julie Elder. She was preceded in death by her parents and aunts and uncles, a daughter-in-law Sharon Bright and a sister and brother-in-law Kathie and Blair McIntier. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
