Rose Ann (Norman) Rhodes, of Picher Oklahoma, went to join her Lord Sunday night November 22, 2020. Born May 10, 1936 she was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Fay, Ben, Cecil, Elizabeth, Jimmie, Charles, Clifford, and Billy Don and her sons Robert Allen Cody, Norman Edward Cody, and her daughter Aletha May (Cody) Redden. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Lee Cody of Broken Arrow and her daughter, Jolene (Cody) Prawdzik of Baxter Springs Kansas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren (Candice Hart, Carrie Cox, Mathew Redden, James Redden, Joseph Redden, Nick Cody, Kyle Cody, Ty Cody, Jimmy Cody, and Crystal Goad) and 15 Great Grandchildren. Rose Ann was born in Kansas but lived most of her life in Picher Oklahoma. She also spent time near her family in Troy Montana. She worked most of her life at Wal-Mart in Miami, Oklahoma and retired from Wal-Mart (twice). She was very active in her church, Bethel Freewill Baptist, for over 50 years and strong in her faith. Funeral serves will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, S.W. of Columbus, KS. Rev. Paul Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery S.W. of Columbus, KS. Nick Cody, Tyler Cody, Kyle Cody, James Redden, Matt Redden and Joseph Redden will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to service at the Church. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
