It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Robert Conners on November 21, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving wife by his side.  He was born in Saint John on May 1, 1978 to the late Gordon and Lynn (Hunter) Conners and was the loving husband to wife, Sherri (Alderman) Conners, and will be missed by his brother Blaine Conners and his family.

Keith grew up playing and watching various sports.  He was a die hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Yankees, and he was an avid diver.  Upon graduation, Keith received a scholarship to St. John’s University in New York for Diving.  Following that, he was able to take his sports fandom to a whole new level and he actually got to work for 3 years in the Public Relations Department for the New York Islanders.  Keith lived in New York for 16 years before moving back to Saint John.  Although he did not have children of his own, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was Uncle Keith to a lot of children.  He was a very loving and caring man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Sherri, he is survived by his much adored puppy, Jaxson; his mother-in-law, Colleen Alderman, sister-in-law, Jaclyn and her family; as well as his very good friends Jr. and Trent.   He was predeceased by his parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic restrictions, a Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1pm, by invitation only, from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Lorneville Seaview Cemetery.  Those unable to attend the Celebration are invited to watch it at the following link:  https://www.oneroomstreaming.com/view/authorise.php?k=160625282087215 .  For those who wish, memorial donations in his memory to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
