<p>The final chapter of a life well-lived is now complete.&nbsp; George Corbett Peek passed away peacefully on November 20, 2020 at the Qualicum Manor in Qualicum, B.C. at the age of 101.</p> <p>George outlived the love of his life, Irene.&nbsp; He is survived by his 3 children: Shirley, Grant (Kay), Joanne (Egidio), 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.</p> <p>&nbsp;George served in the Canadian Air Force for 30 years and then worked for the Ontario Ministry of Education until he retired at the age of 65. He was a caring, giving person who thought of others before himself. George was one of a kind with his quick wit, intelligence and huge heart. His favourite past-times were reading, playing bridge, hiking, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
