<p>Graveside services for Russell Ray Weller, 40, of Somerville are set for 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Central Texas State Cemetery in Killeen.&nbsp; Russell passed away, November 19, 2020 in Caldwell, Texas.</p> <p>Russell was born July 7, 1980 to Raymond Robert Weller and Jill Alane (Marson) Weller, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.&nbsp; Russell was an avid reader and writer.&nbsp; He enjoyed hiking, biking, fishing, traveling, and learning new things. He was a Star Trek and Star Wars enthusiast.&nbsp; He would always put others before himself.&nbsp; He was a great Uncle and the biggest supporter to his sisters and they were his biggest cheerleaders as well. Russell was known for his quick wit.</p> <p>Russell served his Country in the 11 B-SS as an Infantry Calvary Scout in the United States Army.&nbsp; He was known as &ldquo;Hawk&rdquo; by his platoon brothers.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Jill Weller; maternal grandmother, Coreen Marson; paternal grandparents, Herman Weller, Sr. &amp; Ruby Weller; and his uncle, Herman Weller, Jr.</p> <p>Russell leaves behind, his father, Raymond Weller of Somerville; sisters, Lea Brown and husband Peter of Owasso, OK, Myra Southerland and husband Christopher of Cypress, TX; three nephews, Caleb Brown, Connor Southerland, Camden Southerland; and one niece, Madyson Jimenez.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Graveside services for Russell Ray Weller, 40, of Somerville are set for 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Central Texas State Cemetery in Killeen.  Russell passed away, November 19, 2020 in Caldwell, Texas.
