Violet Diane Sears Essman Stayton, Oregon Obituary

Violet Diane Sears Essman

Violet Diane Sears Essman was born January 9, 1955, in Hanford, California, to Haskell Leon and Wilma Jean (Aultman) Sears. She grew up in California with six siblings. Violet married and started a family, spending her adult life as a homemaker taking care of her home and family, which was everything to her. The family lived in California, Oregon, and Arkansas over the years. Wherever she lived, Violet loved the outdoors and would spend time camping and fishing whenever she could. She also enjoyed playing computer games, especially the picture searches and matching games. Halloween was quite an event for Violet and she loved to go all-out with decorating. It was a fun and special time for the family and the kids’ friends. Violet was a very social person and loved spending time with friends and family. She loved children especially and doted on the grandkids and adored each one of them. And you always knew where you stood with her, she never held back saying what she thought and how she felt. What you saw is what you got with Violet, she never pretended to be something she wasn’t. The last several months of her life Violet was in the care of her daughter in Stayton as she battled health issues. It was a difficult time for all, but priceless time spent together before Violet passed away on November 22, 2020 in Stayton, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents Haskell and Wilma and siblings Rose, Hack, Lige, and Bo. Violet is survived by her loving children Angie Uruo-Essman, Jessica (David) Farrell, and Jamie Essman; siblings Iris and Bert; grandchildren Tanika, Jamelia, Jadrian, Jemetrius, Teesha, Shanayah, Dauntae, Darian, Gavin, Randy, Johnny, Meelah, Zayden, and Masse.
