MARIA BEDRICKY

November 10, 1932 – November 22, 2020

 

 

ELKHART- Maria Bedricky, 88, of Elkhart, died Sunday November 22, 2020 at East Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born November 10, 1932 in the Ukraine to Peter Schwetz and Maria Fesenko.

     On May 8, 1955 she married Walter Bedricky.  He survives along with 2 children, Nick (Susan) Bedricky of Granger, Vera (Robert) Bagshaw of San Jose, CA; 3 grandchildren, Peter Bagshaw, Thomas Bagshaw and Hanna Bedricky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Raja Budenko.

     Maria enjoyed baking, cooking, and feeding the dog “Zeke” crackers. She retired from US Brass.

     Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday November 25, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Social distancing and limitations of 50 people with masks will be required.  Funeral services for Maria will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 27, 2020 at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 61314 C.R. 21, Goshen, IN.  Fr. Silouan Rolando will preside and burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen.  Friends may visit with the family for 1 hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
