Herman Avery Gatwood passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He lived to be the age of 75 and he was a resident of Semmes, Alabama where he resided with his family. 

Herman is survived by his loving wife: Theresa Gatwood and two children: Lance (Kim) Gatwood and Karyn (Robby) Butts. He is also survived by two brothers: Warren (Ruth) Gatwood and Lloyd (Sandra) Gatwood; two sisters: Gail Bates and Darlene (O'Neal) Howell; and three grandchildren: Kaylee, Tristan, and Ansleigh. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home.
