<p>Betty J. Jones, age 89 of Marion passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in her home.</p> <p>She was born on June 14, 1931 in Eureka, Illinois the daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie (Duncan) Ewen.</p> <p>She married Roy E. Jones, Sr. in 1957, and he preceded her in death in 2005.&nbsp; Betty was a registered nurse at the Marion VA Hospital for 33 years and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gas City.</p> <p>She is survived by two sons, Roy Jones, Jr. of Marion and William Van Dyke-Jones of Santa Fe&rsquo;, New Mexico; one grandchild and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Betty was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Ewen and John Ewen and a sister, Gladys Ewen.</p> <p>Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana with Father Kevin Hurley officiating.</p> <p>Arrangements entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Betty J. Jones, age 89 of Marion passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in her home.

She was born on June 14, 1931 in Eureka, Illinois the daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie (Duncan) Ewen.

She married Roy E. Jones, Sr. in 1957, and he preceded her in death in 2005.  Betty was a registered nurse at the Marion VA Hospital for 33 years and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gas City.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Jones, Jr. of Marion and William Van Dyke-Jones of Santa Fe’, New Mexico; one grandchild and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Ewen and John Ewen and a sister, Gladys Ewen.

Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana with Father Kevin Hurley officiating.
