Françoise Laforest

June 12, 1936 – November 21, 2020

In memory of Françoise Laforest, who died peacefully holding the hand of her beloved husband Gerard Laforest on the morning of Saturday, November 21st, 2020. She spent her life on earth as a loving wife and cherished mother to Michel (Teresa) of Brampton, Diane (Kevin) Maloney of Bradford, Maurice (Denise) of French River, and Jeanne (David) Turgeon of Wahnapitae. 

Affectionate Mémère of Paul (Jen), Shauna (Joey), Renée Lynn, Mathew (Amanda), Joël, Dominique (Will), Gabrielle (Justin), Chantal (Andrew), Amylee (Ricky), and Adam. Adored Great Grandmother to David, Grayson, James, and Samantha. She will live in the hearts of her brothers and sisters, remembered by her many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 27th, 2020, at Paroisse St-Dominique, 1241 Diane Street, Sudbury, Ontario. Due to restrictions implemented by the Ministry of Health and in light of the COVID-19 guidelines, masks are mandatory, and we ask that you please RSVP to Diane or Jeanne. In lieu of flowers, Fran's family asks that you consider making a donation towards the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.
