Donald E. Syler Jr.

Donald E. Syler, Jr. age 89 of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN formerly of Leslie, MI, passed away November 21, 2020 in Tennessee. Donald was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a certified mechanical engineer and retired from Consumers Power Company in Michigan with 27 years of service. Donald was a former member of Stock Club and Lions Club in Leslie and was Past President of the City of Leslie School Board. Donald was a member of the Community Church in Tellico Village. Preceded in death by his wife, Belva Syler; sons, Jeffrey Syler and Edward Syler. Survived by his wife, Cynthia Syler; son, Alvin Syler and grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsey. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24th at the Click Funeral Home Tellico Village Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment will be in the Massillon Cemetery in Massillon, OH.
