Mildred Elaine Witt passed away peacefully on November 19, 2020. She was 98 years old, born on April 18, 1922.  She was the daughter of James and Mary Ewing and sister of Marjorie, Mario and Jim.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Franklin Witt. She is survived by their two children John (Pam) Witt and Jane (Larry) Von Thun, by four grandchildren Matt, Trish, Carly and Jared and six great grandchildren Scott, Clay, Grant, Sarah, Natalie and Lacey. Millie loved her family and was a cheerleader for each and every one of them.

Born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, she attended Rapid City High School, South Dakota School of Mines, and Spearfish Teachers College.
