Donald Alfred Wyatt Obituary

Donald Alfred Wyatt, 80, of Piney Flats, died Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his residence. He was a native of Bluefield, WV, son of the late James and Gladys Penix Wyatt. Donald was owner/operator of Wyatt Paving Company for many years. He was very active in his business and loved working on his trucks, boating, hunting and deep sea fishing. In addition to his parents, his wife, Marilyn Sue Steppe Wyatt; three sisters, Marie Clay, Dortha J. Wyatt and Carol S. Kent; two brothers, James Jr. Wyatt and Harold Wyatt and his daughter, Sherrie Denton preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Amy Wyatt, his son Donald Troy Wyatt, his sister, Patricia Ann Wyatt; four grandsons, Nicholas Denton, Jeremiah Denton, Matthew Perry and Chad Perry; three great grandsons, Liam, Andrew and Brantley Denton, several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 3:00 pm , under the direction of Lay Servant Dale Gates in the Shell Cemetery in Piney Flats. Family and friends are asked to assemble by 2:50 pm.
