Marion W. Swanson
Marion W. Swanson, 93, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday morning, November 22, 2020. Born in Syracuse on December 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Theresa Wenzel. She was a graduate of Assumption High School. She worked for First Trust, KeyBank, Niagara Mohawk and Immaculate Conception Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph in 1974 and brother, Francis Wenzel. Surviving are her children, Susan Swanson, James (Cheryl) Swanson, Patricia (William) Edwards, Carol (William) Corr, Richard Swanson; grandchildren, Russell, Elizabeth, Daniel, Kathryn, Jennifer, Sara and Megan; and nine great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 to 11am at Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Brookdale Fayetteville and Iroquois Nursing Home.Obituary
