Heidi Flagstad, 62, Minot, ND, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at her residence.  Heidi was born on August 5, 1958 in Minot, ND, the daughter of Tollef Tengesdal and Jacqueline Lou Hanson Tengesdal. She was raised and educated in the Mohall area, graduating from Mohall High School in 1976.    She attended Lake Region Junior College for her LPN certification and attended Minot State University.    Heidi married the love of her life, Carl O. “Kip” Flagstad Jr. on June 28, 1997 in Minot, ND. They made their home in Minot. Heidi worked as the business manager of The Flagstad Law Office.     Kip passed away on May 26, 2011. Following the flood in June of 2011, Heidi worked hard to flip The Flagstad Law Office into rental properties. She continued to live in Minot.  Heidi was tenacious, a businesswoman, world traveler and a mother to all her children’s friends. She was proud to be of Norwegian heritage and traveled there several times to visit family and friends. Heidi was a music lover, attending concerts all over the country.  She also attended all her children’s concerts and plays. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to spoil them.  Heidi was known to be stubborn but had the biggest heart, always choosing to help those in need.  To her children, Heidi is irreplaceable. She was strong, driven, and always there for her friends and family. She was witty, intelligent, and had the absolute best sense of humor. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.  Her loving family includes:  Children, Hilary Leigh Sundahl (Kevin Wambeke), Burlington, ND, Molly Jacqueline Flagstad (Mattias Stich) and Hayley O Flagstad, Minot; step-children, Deanna (Scott) Heit, Glenburn, ND, Kevin (Jody) Flagstad, Minot; grandchildren, Granger Wambeke and Abel Flagstad, step-grandchildren, Lindsay and Hunter Heit;  siblings, Peggy Ranger, Hobe Sound, FL, Tom (Ginny) Greek, Webb City, MO and Holly Gates, Burnsville, NC;  brothers and sisters-in-law,  Mark (Sandy) Flagstad, Greg (Theresa) Flagstad, all Minot, and Michael, Warren, PA; sister, Leslie (Mike) Scofield, Minot, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins Heidi was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl O. “Kip” Flagstad, brothers-in-law, Dan and Bryan Flagstad, her dog, Chewbacca, and a bright red Pontiac Firebird. Celebrating the Life of Heidi Flagstad: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, A Mass of Christian Burial will be held: Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 10:00 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Minot, ND.  The family encourages those attending to wear masks and social distance.  A Public Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 12:30 pm at Hurley Township Cemetery, Loraine, ND.
