<p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Ms. Savalla Fitzpatrick, age 94, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>Drive Through viewing will be Friday, November 27, 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 AM at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>Mrs. Savalla Fitzpatrick was born on April 9, 1926, in Barbour County, Alabama, to the late Preston and Beulah Lewis. She was the youngest of the children, whom all preceded her in death.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>She married Joseph Greene Fitzpatrick on February 13, 1956 and moved to Birmingham, Alabama. She was a loving and devoted wife until his death on March, 8, 1989.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>She lived in Birmingham for many years and was a faithful member of the Metropolitan C.M.E. Church, where she served on the Usher Board and Gospel Choir. She loved to sing and enjoyed gardening, watching old westerns, and listening to country and gospel music.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>She relocated to Dothan, Alabama in 2003 and joined Burdeshaw Street Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health failed.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>Mrs. Savalla Fitzpatrick departed this life and went to her eternal home on November 21, 2020.</i></b></span></font></p> <p><font face="comic sans ms, arial"><span style="font-size: 22px;"><b><i>She leaves to cherish her life: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</i></b></span></font></p>Obituary
