Dowell, 78, Logansport, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020, in Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre, Wabash.</p> <p>Born May 22, 1942, in Illinois, he was the son of Erman and Lena Pearson Dowell.</p> <p>He was married to Melodie Wygant Ausperk, who survives.</p> <p>Victor owned and operated Betterweigh Scales and Service.</p> <p>He had bred and shown Arab and American Paint Horses. He enjoyed flipping houses and fishing. He was a kind and gentle man.</p> <p>Surviving are sons, Don (Tammie), Rob, Jim; daughters, Christina (Barry) Justice, Laurie Dowell (Richard Hankee), step-daughter, Nikki Walker (Rick) Miles; brothers, David (Norma) and Erman, Jr., (Dee); sister, Pat Booker (Butch); many grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.</p> <p>There will be no service.</p> <p>May all of your memories of Victor make you smile.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
