Richard F. Graves Sandusky, Ohio Obituary

Richard F. Graves

Richard F. Graves, 54, Sandusky. On November 19, 2020 we lost our son, brother, and uncle, after a short illness. Richard was born March 12, 1966 in Sandusky, Ohio at Good Samaritan Hospital. Having never found his soul mate, he chose to stay single. He was not fortunate enough to enjoy the sound of his own children’s laughter either. We all loved him, and will miss his humorous side! He was quick to hug, and unexpectedly witty at times. His favorite past times were playing with his dog, Scruffy, and indulging in all things sci-fi. The pride and joy of his life was being a truck driver, second only to cooking. What his mother remembers most about Richard is how affectionate and loving he always was towards her. He leaves behind his mother, Patricia, siblings and spouses: Charles, Teresa & Randall, Katherine, Christine & Phillip, Debra & Joseph. Also, nephews, nieces and spouses: Christopher, Nicholas & Ariana, Kenneth, Lee & Mariam, Heather & Blayne, Dawn & Alexander, Shannon & Brandi, Adam & Kayla, Michael & Heather, Bryan and several more great nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents and father Kenneth At this point in time, there will be no services. The family will plan for a memorial once all members of the extended family can be there, and travel restrictions are not present. Richard has chosen cremation and there will be no burial site. Those wishing to contribute to the memory of Richard, may do so by making a donation in his name to the Humane Society of your choice. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
