Leo Penton

Passed away peacefully on November 20, 2020 at home, surrounded by his wife and children, Leo Penton age 69 years. He was pre-deceased by his son Mitchell, parents Donald and Anastasia, and sister Sharon. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, Wife Madonna, son Dean (Erica), daughters Pamela (Glenn), Shelley (Ryan), Valerie (Alona), Nancy (Philip), Samantha (Sean) and Leya. Brothers: Rodger (Mary), Gus, Danny (Caroline), Tim (Patricia), brother-in-law Derrick. Special mention to Joe Penton for the brotherly bond they shared. Sisters: Linda (Ira), Mildred, Joyce (Rex). & "Especially, his 11 beautiful grandchildren. Plus a wonderful circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Science department at Fogo Island Central Academy. Funeral service on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 1pm from Mary Queen of the World, Joe Batt’s Arm. A heartfelt thank you to his team of doctors (Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Dobbin, Dr. Paulus, Dr. Tarik & Dr Culleton), the Gander Cancer Care Centre, Fr. Anthony, Gary and Janice Keats. All of whom provided wonderful care. We would like to express our sincere appreciation and thanks to all those who have offered their condolences, prayers and words of kindness during our difficult time of sorrow. To those who have sent food, cards, donations, messages, visited and supported our families, your thoughtfulness and kindness will forever be remembered. Special mention to Dad’s student’s - he felt blessed to have met and mentored each one of them.
