She was a loving and devoted mother to Ernie Valdes, Tina Valdes, Anisia Valdes, Lisa Tomkinson and Eugene Valdes. She was the best and most caring grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memories from a family member: When I was just a little girl, you held me so tight, you sang to me and rocked me all through the night. When I was just a little girl far far away, you told me to look at the stars every night. That wherever I was we would be looking up at the same light. You called me with your heart and I called you with mine. We had a connection so deep that no one could take away not even when I was miles away. As I grew older you would give me advise, you were my secret keeper and my friend for life. Now that you are gone, I won’t be able to pick up the phone to call you to say I love you or a hey I just made it home. Instead I will look up at the stars and close my eyes real tight to tell you I love you mucho rest, peace and good night. I love you more, Sissy.
