Dean F. Toor

98, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 10, 1922 to Atlee and Rose Toor who preceded him in death. Dean went to see the Good Lord Thursday, November 19, 2020. Dean was a World War II veteran. He worked for the State of Indiana Homeland Security as a boiler inspector for more than 50 years and retired at the age of 94. Dean enjoyed horses and owned many successful race horses. He was kind and generous to his neighbors and friends and enjoyed watching the kids ride bikes and rollerskate in his driveway.

Dean is preceded in death by his wife Thelma Lea Toor and his daughter Shelia (Sam) Gardiner, his brothers Gerald (Burnie) Toor and Thomas (Oliva) Toor. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends form 6:30pm to 7pm on Tues. Nov. 24, 2020 at the funeral home with a funeral service beginning at 7pm
