Lake City- Barbara Fay Keiter, 74, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born August 3, 1946 in Lake City to the late Ivan and Eva Marie Osborne Platz. She was a retired factory worker and homemaker. Mrs. Barbara loved her family and her church family, Refuge General Baptist Church. If you knew her, you knew she loved Jesus, her family and her friends with all her heart. She was survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Owen Keiter of the home; two sons, Gary Keiter of Lake City and Kevin Keiter (Amy) of Monette; two brothers, Billy Platz (Joyce) of Monette and Jimmy Platz (Shirley) of Lake City; a half-brother, Raymond Mize of IN; two grandchildren, Phillip Keiter (Amanda) of Seattle, WA and Lauren West of Southaven, MS; a great-grandchild, Cohen Markum of Monette; three daughters-in-law, Dee Wallace, Roxanne Gilley, and Rhonda Keiter and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by Vera Platz, mother who raised her; a son, Ricky Keiter; a grandson, Hunter Keiter; a granddaughter, Sylvia Keiter; siblings, Marie Keiter, Garland Platz, Bobby Platz, Joan McCraken, Dorothy Pearson and Ruby Kyle. The family will be having a private graveside service under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are the Golden Girls, Lexi Hall, Cydni Williams, Jessie Mann and Kaesha Koons.
