Frank Alan Couey, 65, resident of Florida Ave., passed away November 20, 2020 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in September 9, 1955, in Atlanta, GA., he was the son of the late John and Emma Wright Couey. He was a very loving father and devoted grandfather. He was full of fire and enthusiasm for his family and life and extended his wisdom and kindness to anyone who needed it. He was an incredible teacher and friend to so many, and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Surviving are a son, Aaron (Savanna George) Couey and a daughter, Sarah Couey, both of Greenwood; two brothers, Ken Couey of Monroe, GA and Johnathon Couey of Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Levon Metzer and Lalena Couey. There are no services planned at this time.
