Larry James Rudd

Larry James (Buddy) Rudd, 72, of Chipley passed away on November 19, 2020. Larry was born on September 25, 1948 in Quincy, Florida. He was the son of Virgil J. Rudd and Lucy Mae Rudd. Larry retired from CSX Railroad as an engineer. He was also a proud U.S. Marine and served in the Vietnam War. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Linda Nell Rudd, Hershel Dwain Rudd, Lynette Spooner (James Earl Spooner). Larry is survived by his wife Kathy Rudd of Chipley; his daughter Lori Leis (Roland Leis) of Chipley, his sister Patricia Hayes (Wayne Hayes) of Quincy, his brother Jerry Rudd (Alicia Rudd) of Tallahassee and sister in-law Quidia Rudd of Crawfordville, Grandson Hunter Fletcher of Chipley, Step-Grandsons Chris Leis of Chipley and Jason Leis of Colonial Heights, Virginia. A host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Graveside services will be at Hillcrest cemetery in Quincy, Florida on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Charles McClellan Funeral Home in Quincy is in charge of arrangements. Please wear masks and practice social distancing.
