<p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Mr. Gordon Gerald Greenman of Lacombe, Alberta passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020 at the Royal Oak Village at the age of 87 years.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Gordon was born on October 19, 1933 in Eckville, Alberta. He grew up with nine sisters and one brother and always considered himself &ldquo;Well Looked After&rdquo;.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">At the age of nineteen, Gordon went to British Columbia and started to work on the railroad. He worked his way up to an Engineer position with CN&nbsp;Rail.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">As a young farm boy Gordon figured he would grow up to work on the farm. Gordon retired at the age of 65 after running trains for 45 years.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Predeceased by his first wife Margery, his parents, and one son Tim as well as by seven sisters Gordon is survived by his loving wife Ruth of Lacombe, son Gordie of Gold Bridge, BC., daughter Tammy (Rob) Pelland of Lillooet, BC., two sisters; Phyllis of Salmon Arm, BC., Joyce of McKenzie, BC., one brother Glen (Jeannie) of Lillooet, BC., six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Gordon will also be remembered by his step daughter; Lorna (Pat) Duffy, and by his four step sons; Larry (Lucille) Bolze, Gerald (Kathy) Bolze, Don (Della) Bolze, Dale (Esther) Bolze, and by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">The family wish to thank all of the staff at Royal Oak Village in Lacombe for the excellent care Gordon received, especially during the last two years. &ldquo;They Went Above &amp; Beyond&rdquo;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:14px;">In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gordon&#39;s name to Stars,&nbsp;<a href="https://stars.ca/ways-to-donate/ab/">https://stars.ca/ways-to-donate/ab/</a>.&nbsp;</span></span></p>

Mr. Gordon Gerald Greenman of Lacombe, Alberta passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020 at the Royal Oak Village at the age of 87 years.

Gordon was born on October 19, 1933 in Eckville, Alberta. He grew up with nine sisters and one brother and always considered himself “Well Looked After”.
