Anne Muth

Anne W. Muth, 82, passed away November 14, 2020. Born on August 18, 1938 in Calexico, California, she was the daughter of Marion and Donald Wilson. Anne grew up in San Diego, CA and attended the San Diego College for Women (now University of San Diego). She worked for Bishop Buddy while attending college. Anne married her husband, Daniel G. Muth at Immaculata on University of San Diego’s campus. Bishop Buddy arranged for Pope John XXIII to officially bless their wedding. They were married for 60 years. Together they lived in South Bend, IN; NJ; PA; Indianapolis, IN; Leawood, KS and Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her husband Dan Muth of Tucson, AZ and four children: John C. Muth and Susan E. Henry of London, UK; Thomas D. Muth of Kansas City, MO; Therese M. and Richard V. (son-in-law) Chua of Tucson, AZ; John C. Muth of London, UK and Charles E. and Deborah A. (daughter-in-law) Muth of Ft. Collins, CO. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Catherine N. Chua of Dallas, TX; Abigail G. Chua of Tucson, AZ; Caroline R. Muth of Kansas City, KS; Emily E. Chua of Tucson, AZ; William H. Muth of Fort Collins, CO and Nathan D. Muth of Fort Collins, CO. Anne spent her life with her husband, Dan, enjoying raising four children and six grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, knitting, embroidery, and traveling. Anne enjoyed her final years in Tucson loving the warmth and beautiful sunsets. Services will be held for the family at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5150 N Valley View Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718 on Nov. 23, 2020. Burial immediately following at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery.
