Obituary
Ethel Louise Radtke went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 19th, 2020. Ethel was born October 16th, 1937 at home, to Homer and Jessie Bridge in Kuna, Idaho. Ethel was raised on a farm near Kuna, and also educated in Kuna, graduating in 1956. Ethel met Don Radtke, who was in the Air Force in 1963, and they were married October 14, 1963. To this union they had one child, Sheila.
Ethel had many wonderful adventures in her life which included trips to Hawaii, Alaska, and even a tour back through the Midwest visiting old family, cemeteries, and homesteads in Missouri, Colorado, and Nebraska. She also had many adventures traveling to Wisconsin to visit her in-laws, and even at one point she did so on the back of a Harley. Ethel loved talking about the good old days, her family, and her friends.
Ethel dedicated many years of service to the Lord, volunteering at many various church functions. She was such a blessing to so many, sharing the true love of Jesus to everyone she was in contact with. She was wise, giving, sharing, and above all encouraging to others.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Jessie; four brothers, Bud, Lloyd, Emmett, and Larry; as well as one sister, Helen.
A viewing will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30th at the Cloverdale Funeral Home. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be limited.
A service will be conducted for Ethel at 2:00 p.m. on November 30th at the Heritage Bible Church located at 7071 Emerald St., Boise, ID 83704. A livestream of the service can be viewed at www.hbc-boise.org/live.
