Mr. Charles Lawrence “Larry” Packer, Jr, 82, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Arthur Packer, entered into rest on Thursday, November 19, 2020. A memorial service celebrating his life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Eureka First Baptist Church with Pastor John Arthur, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Charles Lawrence Packer, Sr. and Eileen Black Packer, Larry proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Navy. He was a retired long-distance truck driver with fifty-one years of service and he was a member of Eureka First Baptist Church, Trenton, S.C. Left to cherish his memory along with his wife are sons, Douglas Payne, of Kenilworth, NJ and John Payne (Eleonor), of Gulf Port, MS and grandsons, James Payne and Matthew Payne.
