LENORA GAINES was born on June 20, 1959 to Gertrude scoot Gaines and James Harver Gaines Sr. She was educated in the Philadelphia public schools, where she graduated from University High School. Lenora Gaines was and still is in spirit an amazing woman. She had four pain in the butts, but also loving children, Kalhlief, Harry or Butter, Pamela, and Bayon. Taffy, as most of everyone called her loved reggae music, dancing, coloring, and cooking. Holidays were always a blast. We'd get as much family together and take over any street we've lived on with music food and amazing entertainment. Thanksgiving and Christmas was her childrens favorite holidays because that's when she made her famous sweet potato pie and oh so cheesy homemade mac n cheese that we all  would fight over. Dang, we're going to miss you and you will always be loved.  She leaves behind: a special friend, James Andrew Williams; 14 grandchildren; 5 Siblings; nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Lenora was preceded in death by 8 siblings; 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
