Emilio Torres, age 90, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was born on May 11, 1930 in Aguacate, Havana, Cuba to Eduardo and Paula Torres. He married Teresa Galindo on May 24, 1956 and together they had 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Teresa Torres; children: Amarilys Torres, Daniel Torres, Magdeline Harris (Jose), and Jorge Torres (Tracy), grandchildren: Ariel Born (Dustin), Vanessa Harris, Aaron Torres (Ariel), twins: Hunter Torres (Kaitlynn) and Olivia Denmark (Brandon), and Seth Torres; great-grandchildren: Logan, Claire, Benjamin; and a brother, David Torres (Gisela); as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Mr. Torres came to the US in 1967 and retired from the Maxwell House manufacturing plant after a 25 year dedicated career. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Pastor Fernando Sanez will officiate.
