I can’t believe that this is real
How is it supposed to heal
I heard the word that they said
My heart was beating, now it’s dead
It doesn’t matter what they say
How can we go on another day
I’ve always loved you no matter what
Even when you were a stinky butt
I remember the day that you came and how our love would forever change
I want to lash out, I want to rage
I don’t want this chapter. I don’t want this page
Know that I love you, know that it’s true
Till the end of time, my heart will carry you
You are the sun, you are the sky, you will forever by my special guy
Poem by Lisa Bailey (Aunt)
