<p>Larry Leahigh, 81, of Scipio, passed away at 11:47 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the Columbus Regional Hospital.</p> <p>A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. &ndash; 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the funeral home.</p> <p>Born on March 5, 1939, in Jennings County, Larry was the loving son of Glen and Dorothy (Poling) Leahigh. He was united in marriage to Sundra Sage on November 2, 1985. She survives.</p> <p>Larry graduated from Butlerville High School. He retired after 39 &frac12; years from Cummins Inc. He was avid IU sports fan. He enjoyed fishing and bowling in his spare time. Most of all, Larry cherished spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He loved his dog, Willie.</p> <p>In addition to his wife, Sundra Leahigh of Scipio, survivors include sons, Gary (Liz) Leahigh of Columbus, OH, Bruce (Vicky) Leahigh of Tampa, FL, and Tim (Betty) Isley of Scipio; daughters, Michelle (John Beverly) McCasland of Scipio, Yolanda (Kevin Field) McCasland of North Vernon, and Shelley (Brian Acton) Rubio of Courtland; grandchildren, James Koontz Leahigh, Autumn Tichenor, Kyle Leahigh, Amber Rubio, Aisha McCasland, Prestin Isley, and Caitlin Hess; ten great grandchildren.</p> <p>Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Dorothy Leahigh, sons, Terry and Alan Leahigh; daughter, Kendra Ashburn; sisters, Shirley Leahigh and Janice Bradshaw.</p> <p>Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Jennings County Animal Control or the American Cancer Society.</p>
