Tunnah,&nbsp;</span></span></em><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">age 77, died November 17, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Philip was born on July 24, 1943 to parents, Joseph&nbsp;and Garnett Tunnah.&nbsp; After graduating from Shortridge High School, Phil went on to pursue a career in acting.&nbsp; He loved his time performing in various productions; his time with the Garfield Shakespeare Company being among his favorites.&nbsp; Philip liked to reminisce on his time of bringing joy to so many by playing Santa Claus.&nbsp; He even had the honor of participating in the &quot;Circle of Lights&quot; event in downtown Indianapolis for three years.&nbsp; He was a true professional and entertainer supreme.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Philip is survived by&nbsp;step-son, Christopher Tunnah and his wife&nbsp;of Fairfield, Ohio; sister, JoAnn Sutterfield; great-nephews, Andrew Sutterfield and family, and Joseph Marion II and family, all of Indianapolis.&nbsp; He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Jacobs; and brother, Charles Tunnah.</span></span></em></p> <p><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">There are no services planned at this time.&nbsp; For further information, please contact PhilTunnahMemorial@yahoo.com.</span></span></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Philip A. Tunnah, age 77, died November 17, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN.

Philip was born on July 24, 1943 to parents, Joseph and Garnett Tunnah.  After graduating from Shortridge High School, Phil went on to pursue a career in acting.  He loved his time performing in various productions; his time with the Garfield Shakespeare Company being among his favorites.  Philip liked to reminisce on his time of bringing joy to so many by playing Santa Claus.  He even had the honor of participating in the "Circle of Lights" event in downtown Indianapolis for three years.  He was a true professional and entertainer supreme.

Philip is survived by step-son, Christopher Tunnah and his wife of Fairfield, Ohio; sister, JoAnn Sutterfield; great-nephews, Andrew Sutterfield and family, and Joseph Marion II and family, all of Indianapolis.  He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Jacobs; and brother, Charles Tunnah.
